Gary Gerard Jules Sauve of Edson, AB., passed away at the age of 71 years in Edson, on January 22, 2025, at approx. 11:30hrs.
Gary was born on March 23rd, 1953, in Pembroke, Ontario, to Jules and Marie Sauve (Lavoie).
He worked at Sundance Wood Products since 1991, with a short trial at Coal Valley Mine before retiring. Most of his career was in the Mining and Lumber industry.
Gary had two children with Barbara Carbert, Alexander Sauve and Calinda Sauve.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing guitar at Christmas gatherings, later in life he enjoyed watching football and hockey during his retirement.
He is survived by: Sherri Ferguson, Calinda Sauve, Justis Rae, Kaleb Sauve, Alexander Sauve, Barbara-Ann Rita Sauve, Shilo, Amanda, Xavier and Mya Croteau, Laurie Conklin, as well as multiple cousins and other relatives.
Gary was pre-deceased by: Jules and Marie Sauve (parents), Kerry-Lynn Elizabeth Marie Mclaren (niece), Darci Leigh Faith Croteau (niece), Shelly-Ann Julie Croteau (niece) and also by many aunts and uncles.
