Garry Albert Soulière Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Garry Albert Soulière. Garry passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on January 21, 2025 at the age of 77 in Shawville, Québec. Son of the late Marcel Souliere and the late Teresa Young, beloved husband of 56 years to Judith Soulière (nee Egan), he leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his four children Gary Junior, Chantel Soulière (Craig McCormick), Christine Soulière (Rob Macintosh), and Laurie Soulière (Eldon Keon). Proud Poppa to grandchildren Courtney (Brendan), Jarred, Grace, Brayden, Connor, Noah, Owen and proudest Poppa to great-grandson Benjamin. Garry is survived by his brother Tony, sisters Peggy, Vickie, Kathy, Kim and Tracy and predeceased by brothers David, Brian, Randy, Timmy, Robbie and sister Jenny. He will be fondly remembered by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Garry was an accomplished entrepreneur and highly skilled heavy equipment operator, whose crowning achievement was the development of Soulière Crescent, a loving community of family and close friends.
Friends and family will be received at Saint Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 160 Principale St, Gatineau, Quebec on Wednesday, January 29th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the British Hotel where a light lunch will be served.
Our sincere thanks to the members of the palliative care team at the Shawville Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
