God called Gaetana home peacefully on January 5, 2025 at the age of 80. She leaves behind her beloved husband Pasquale. Cherished mother of Francesco and Giardina (George Verveniotis). Dear grandmother of Sophia, Peter, Sabrina, Nicholas, Samuel, Franco and Anthony. Caring sister of Michele (Franca). Gaetana will be dearly missed by all her nieces and nephews; Domenic, Anthony and Antonella, all her extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 2-5 & 6 – 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Avenue West). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Rd., at Highway 27).
In memory of Gaetana, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
