Passed away peacefully at the Golden Manor on January 18, 2025, at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 67 years Lucienne née Bourcier (November 22, 2017). He was also predeceased by his parents and all his siblings, his daughter Carole (January 1, 1971), and his grandson Marc Morais (February 17, 1984). He leaves behind his children Paulette Gallant (late Lauréat), Diane Benoit-Lefebvre (late Jeannot), Gary, and Evelyn Benoit (Donny); his grandsons Alain Morais (Sophie), Denis Morais (Jessica) and Ryan Lefebvre (Deandra). He also leaves behind his two great-granddaughters, Jaedin and Jovie Morais who loved their Pepère Gabe.
Our father was a life-long salesman and musician. He also made many friends on his numerous organized bus tours. We would like to thank the staff at the Golden Manor for taking such good care of our dad.
Cremation has been entrusted to LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025, which will be one day before his 94th birthday. The family will receive friends from noon until 1pm, followed by a service in the LESSARD Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held on July 14, 2025, which will commemorate their wedding anniversary. Remembrance donations can be made to the Golden Manor Recreational Department or a charity of your choice.
