Pellerin, Freda Mary – 86, Pugwash, passed away January 7, 2025, at All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Born at Pugwash River, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mae (Purdy) Vandenburg. Freda was a homemaker. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, sewing and knitting. Freda is survived by her children, Johnny Pellerin, Cathy Pellerin and David (Robin) Pellerin, all in Ontario, Alan Pellerin, Pugwash, Alfred Pellerin, Oxford, Karen Pellerin, Amherst, Terry Noiles, Alberta; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother, Donald Vandenburg, Pugwash River. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sons, Peter and Paul Pellerin; brother, Ossie Vandenburg; sister-in-law, Gladys Vandenburg. There will be no services held at this time. Burial will take place in the Pugwash River Cemetery at a later date.
