Treasured mother (Momsie) of Joe Beneteau (Pam), Genevieve Deschamps (late Ronald 2020), the late James Beneteau (2013) (Penny), Lawrence Beneteau (Lisa), Paul Beneteau (Jean), Theresa Meloche (David), Loretta Dekold (Martin). Beloved Mémé to her 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Edmund and Eveline Paquette. Predeceased by her sisters Olive (Ivan), Dorothy (Art), Rosemary (Eugene), Irene (Ivan), Hilda (Howard), Cecilia (Victor), Evelyn and Pauline. Dear sister in-law of the late Don Beneteau (late Eileen), late Marguerite Mailloux (late Roland), Jeannette Bezaire (late Eugene), Clayton Beneteau (late Marian), Harvey Beneteau, late Angela Marontate (late Gerald), late Mae Houle (Rosaire) and late Romeo Beneteau.
Freda was a dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She was involved in the Alter Society as well as the Chumettes for several decades. She was devoted to the holy rosary daily.

Visitation on Wednesday September 10, 2025 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers at 7:30 pm at Families First 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841. Visitation will continue on Thursday September 11, 2025 at St. Joseph Church, 9399 Townline Road, River Canard from 10:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment to follow St. Joseph Cemetery.
