It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francine Vien who passed away peacefully at Saint Vincent Hospital in Ottawa on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025. Francine is survived by her son Johnathan and daughter Jessika (Mike) Ferrone; grandchildren Johnathan Jr., Ryek and Iylah. She is also survived by her siblings Danielle (Maurice), Rejean (Brigitte), Christian, Richard, Sandra along with many nieces and nephews. Francine also leaves behind her beloved dog Touba. She is predeceased by her parents Jean-Marie and Aurise, and her sister Linda.
Francine worked as an accountant for most of her professional career and had a knack for numbers. Despite her health challenges that presented themselves at an early age, Francine lived her life to the fullest by becoming a mother, a grandmother, travelling the globe, enjoying culinary adventures all while making lifelong friendships along the way. Francine will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held for close family and friends on Friday June 20th between 2pm and 5pm at the Amberwood Golf Club in Stittsville.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or to Bruyère Health Saint-Vincent Hospital.
