The passing of Frances Marie Hunter of Stanley , New Brunswick , wife of the late Allen Hunter occurred on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born of May 4, 1941 in Stanley , New Brunswick , she was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie May (Gullison) Fullarton. She was a member of the Cross Creek Baptist Church .
Fran loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed music and reading, she also loved the outdoors and working away in her flower garden.
Frances is survived by her sons, Tony Case (Tammy) and Troy Case (Kerry); daughter, Trena Hawkes (Brent); stepdaughter, Marigail Hunter; stepson, Darcy Hunter (Fran); sister, Roberta Foreman; brothers, Wayne Fullarton (Elizabeth) and Dale Fullarton (Barb); along with several grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Emerson Fullarton, Bud Fullarton and Glen Fullarton; sister, Louise Sparkes and her first husband Kendall Case.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive , Fredericton , New Brunswick . In keeping with Fran’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place in the Cross Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Cross Creek Baptist Church , Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
