Franc Kofol Obituary
Franc Kofol Peacefully passed away at Dom Lipa, Etobicoke, on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at the age of 90. Franc is survived by his nieces and nephews in Canada: Eda (Steve) Dreany and Danny Kofol; and in Slovenia: Rado, Joźe, and Florijan Levpijsćek; Judita and Marko Kofol. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and their children. Franc is lovingly remembered by his close friends Stefan and Anćka Humar and many other lifelong friends. Franc was predeceased by his parents, Leopold and Julijana (née Źbogar); his brothers, Leopold and Pepe; and his sister, Maria Levpijsćek.Franc will always be remembered for his warm smile and his great sense of humor. He was a proud member of the Simon Gregorcic Slovenian Farm, where he loved to gather with family and friends to celebrate their friendships and community. He enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing, playing bolince and cards, building birdhouses, painting, doing puzzles, and playing bingo. There will be a Memorial Mass held for Franc at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish (739 Brown’s Line, Etobicoke) in mid-May. Please check back for further details.
