It is with great sadness the family announce that Florence died peacefully at Sunset Manor Long Term Care, Collingwood on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the age of 101.
Florence, of Nottawasaga, was predeceased by her beloved husband Stan, and her eldest daughter Peggy. Loving mother of Marilyn (late Gary Cronin) and Frank. Cherished grandmother of Erin (Amir), Matthew (Alanna) and Lori. Treasured great-grandmother of Sam, Nick, Wesley, Ellie, Torbin and Maggie. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Florence loved the country, especially working on the farm with Stan. Later in life, she enjoyed painting, knitting, sewing, poetry and was a great photographer. She will be greatly missed.
Friends are invited to join the family at the Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood on Thursday, April 17, 2025 for visitation from 1 p.m. for the funeral service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Alton Ruff officiating. Spring interment West Nottawasaga Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donation in memory of Florence to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
