It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dearest Ivy Dalton, who passed away peacefully at Bonavista Hospital, on Thursday, February 6, 2025 in the presence of her husband Newman, son Rick, daughter Michelle and granddaughter Melissa.
Ivy was a loving wife to Newman Dalton for 72 years; a beloved mother to David, Cyndi (Alvin Kane), Richard (Deborah), Michelle (Robert Brown), Terry and Craig (Jackie); she was a proud nan to Devon, Kevin, Jacqueline, Melissa, Jonathan, Abby, Terra, Paige and Justin; great nan to Joella, Kaley, Megan, Carly, Makayla, Caleb, Joshua, Wilder, Bryn, Isley, Charleigh, Layla, Bryce and Jaiden.
Ivy’s kindness, warmth, strength and love for her family, friends who knew her well will be deeply missed. She found joy in the simple moments, cherishing time with loved ones, sharing stories and offering a warm smile and a helping hand to everyone she met.
The family appreciates the love and support of Rita and Wade Peddle, Cindy McIssac as well as the Jehovah Witness congregation in Shoal Harbour. As per her wishes cremation will take place. Memorial service Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness – 16 Blundon’s Lane, George’s Brook- Milton.
