Passed away very peacefully at Quinte Health Care North Hastings on Monday, February 3, 2025. She was born on November 2, 1962 in Bancroft. Her parents were Jean Creighton and the late Pat Fitzgerald. Siblings Mike, Eddie, Catherine, Paddy, Elizabeth, Tony, Theresa, John, Bill, Jim and their spouses mourn her passing. Bee had 36 nieces and nephews and 49 great nieces and nephews. Her fantastic smile was freely given as was her beautiful way of making people happy and sharing her love of absolutely every person she met. She worked hard alongside her siblings on the farm growing up and she loved music, riding her bike and watching everyone play cards. She will be greatly missed as she was the shining star of our family and now becomes our guardian angel. She was the glue that kept us all together. Our family would like to express our gratitude to every PSW who cared for Bee at the manor with empathy, kindness and genuine love. The few nurses who managed Bee’s care at the manor and the hospital are also in our debt. Visitation will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Maynooth on Thursday, February 6 from 1 – 5 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 7 at 11 am. Fr. John Lacey will celebrate the Mass for Bee.
