Passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 57.
Born and raised in Scotland, Evelyn is survived by her father, Jake Lonie; sister Jean Gemmell (George); her wonderful children Zach Anthony (Jessica) and Jasmine Anthony (Cléo); her beautiful nieces Pamela Blunn (Matt), Payton Anthony (Harvey), Kendra Anthony, and Jessica Fleury. Loving cousin of Collin Egan (Wilma), Angela (Scott) and many more loved ones in Scotland. Beloved great-auntie of wee Jack, Lucas, and Sauren. Very special friend to Phillip Schutt. Soul sister of Crystal Wright Anthony.
Evelyn is predeceased by her mum, Babs Lonie and her handsome son Brandon Anthony.
The best dog mum to Gus, Leo,Lady and Daisy. Phenomenal dog granny to Emmy & Oscar. Amazing cat granny to Sylvester.
Evey absolutely loved nature, treasure hunting, watching sunsets and walking alongside the water. She is free now doing what she loves.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
