Evelyn Louise Leary, age 80, of Stratford passed away suddenly at the Stratford General Hospital on March 5, 2025. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Wilfred and Ruby (Fink) Greve.
Predeceased by her partner of 44 years Robert “Bob” Chesney. Evelyn is survived by her children Dan (Patricia), Scott (Heather Wilson), and Kevin. Grandmother of Jayden and Keysha Power (Marshall). Great grandmother of Lilith. Lovingly remembered by Bob’s niece Deborah Hart.
Visitation for friends and family will be held at W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford, on Friday, March 14, from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, March 15, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow.
