It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Evdoxia on Thursday, March 13th, 2025 at the age of 86 years. Devoted mother to Stephen (Nicole). Adored Yiayia to Anna. Caring sister to Kosmas (Irene). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children in Canada and Greece. Predeceased by her beloved husband Vasilios (2008) and cherished daughter Jenny (2023).
Evdoxia was born in Vasileiada, Kastoria, Greece and immigrated to Canada in 1964 with her daughter to join her husband in Windsor. Here they expanded their family welcoming in their son, Stephen. With this, they were able to help other family members settle into Canada.
She was resilient and caring and will be deeply missed. Her memory lives on in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave) 519-969-5841 on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025 from 7-9pm. Thrice Holy Hymn Service will be held at 7:30pm. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (3052 Walker Road) on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 at 11am.
