Died peacefully at home on Thursday April 3, 2025 at the age of 78. Eva of Wasaga Beach, beloved wife of Allan for over 40 years. Loving mother of the late Joey (Jennifer) and Andre (Elaine). Cherished grandmother of Brianna, Matthew, Tori, Kayla and Maddie. She will also be missed by Judy McEachern, her extended family, many friends and her canine companions Sydney and Russell. Eva was a kind and nurturing woman. She had a long career as a social worker, assisting and helping those in most need in our society. She enjoyed quilting and other handcrafts, many of which are now cherished family heirlooms.
Friends are invited to join her family on Friday May 9, 2025 at the Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery, 111 Russel Street West, Thornbury for a graveside ceremony at 12 noon. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63, 490 Ontario Street, Collingwood from 2 to 4 p.m. . If desired, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
