Ervin ‘Frank’ Egyed Obituary
Frank passed away peacefully, at the age of 85, in his Penticton, British Columbia home, surrounded by his loving wife and three daughters, following a sudden deterioration in his health.
Frank was married to the love of his life, Elizabeth Egyed for 54 years. He was a devoted and loving father to his three beautiful girls, Dianne (Mario), Jennie (James), and Julia (Joe); and hands down the best grandpa to Anna, Thomas, Ben, Brett, Alex and Sam. His family was his greatest source of pride and joy.
Frank was a neighbour in the truest sense of the word: selfless, generous; and always putting others before himself. Rarely seen without a smile, he was fun-natured, and a warm welcoming host. He found joy in tending to his beautiful yard, spending countless hours maintaining his vegetable garden and sharing the harvest with his neighbours and friends.
There are no words to fully express how deeply he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Tim Phillips and his staff for their exceptional and compassionate care. As well as recognize the nurses at the Penticton Health Centre wound clinic.
An Open House to celebrate Frank’s life will be held at his home on May 24, 2025 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. For location details email: celebratefrank2025@gmail.com
In lieu of flowers, please take a moment to raise a glass with those you love and toast to Frank.
