In Loving Memory of Ermite Joseph

With deep sorrow but profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Ermite Joseph, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on December 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by the love of her family in her final moments.
Ermite was a devoted woman of God, whose unwavering faith guided her life and touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beacon of kindness, strength, and grace, reflecting her steadfast commitment to her faith in every word and action.
Born on December 23 in Port de Paix in Haiti, Ermite embraced her journey with purpose, dedicating herself to her family, her church, and her community. She found joy in nurturing those around her, offering wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love.
Her resilience through life’s challenges was a testament to her profound trust in God. Even in the face of adversity, she remained an example of hope and perseverance, inspiring all who witnessed her journey.
Ermite is survived by her children Gael, Gerard Myrtho, Emmanuel, her grandchildren Maella, Elie, Christelle, Michael, Joyce, Life, Djaylion and Djaella. She leaves behind her siblings Max, Danie, Frantz, her nieces/nephew Daphney, Jennifer, Colette, Alex, Maureen then Kelsey Alexya, Johanna, Jelena, Ethan and Zariya, who will carry forward her legacy of love, faith, and compassion. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit and teachings will live on in our hearts forever.
A celebration of Ermite’s life will be held on January 18th 2025 at Park place funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring her remarkable life and faith-filled legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to name of a charity or organization related to cancer research or Ermite’s faith.
As we say goodbye to Ermite, we find comfort in knowing that she rests in the arms of her Savior, welcomed with the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
