Emil Peter Dael of Riverview passed away Thursday, January
30, 2025 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Espenhein, Germany, he was
the son of the late Edgard and Katharina (Rubel) Dael.
Emil retired from the Canadian Armed Forces as a Master
Corporal following a career of over 22 years. Following his
retirement, he worked for the Corps Commissionaires and later for
NBLCC in Riverview.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of nearly 50 years
Daphne, son, Erik (Christine), daughters, Alexa Gallant (Eric) and
Sherri Sheilds (Jeff), cherished grandchildren; Keaghan, Leeam, Eve,
Gwenyth, McKenna and Megan, sisters; Hedy Caissie (Ron) and Kathelijne
Dael (Marnix Huys), uncle, Ralph Dael (Kathleen) as well as several
nieces and nephews. Aside frojm his parents he was predeceased by a
brother, Bernard.
Respecting his wishes cremation has taken place at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview. A celebration of his life will be held on PEI in the spring
for family and friends.
