The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community
Hospital, O’Leary on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 of Elizabeth
“Betty” Ann Acorn of Phillips Residence Alberton formerly of
O’Leary aged 75. Betty was born in Summerside, February 16, 1950,
daughter of the late John and Angelina (DesRoches)
Arsenault.
Cherished mom to Jason (Cristy) Acorn, Amanda Acorn, Tracy
(Jason) Birch and Rebecca (Jeff) Campbell. Loving grammie to Bradley,
Conner, Tyscen, Abigale, Josiah, Charlee, Declan, Elliott, Beau and
great grammie to Adelynn. Dear sister to Doreen Kennedy, Rita
MacPherson, sister in law to Barb Arsenault, Sherman Sanderson and
Ivan Mills.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, sisters Eileen
Falconer, Helen Mills, Gladys Sanderson, brothers John, Elmer and
Eldon Arsenault.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with
visiting hours Tuesday, 12:00 – 1:45 pm followed by her funeral
service in the Chapel at 2:00pm. Interment at a later date in St.
Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
