Eileen Iva (Dusharme) (Steele) Whan- January 25, 1926 – January 20, 2025
Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Perth and Smiths Falls Hospital Perth Site, just five days short of her 99th birthday. Eileen was pre-deceased by her first husband James Steele. She was the loving mother of her children Keith (Colleen), Bryan (Brenda), Heather Foley (Bob), late Vickey Fox (Tom), Charles, and Janice Morrow (John). Pre-deceased by her 2nd husband Doug Whan. Stepmother to his children the late Blake (Paula), Brenda Steele (Bryan), Vonnie Day (Gord), Dean (Nancy), Paul and the late John. Beloved sister of Jean Lovelace, Carl (Sylvia), Kaye Wilson and Sharon Koen. Missed by her in-laws Harry Whan (Sylvia) and Edith England (late Norm White). Grandma and Step Grandmother to many up to 5 generations. She will also be remembered by pen pal of over 85 years Eileen (Greer) Gamble. Pre-deceased by her parents Charlie and Katie Dusharme as well as her siblings Cecil, Donald, Shirley, Evalena Ayling, Marjorie Lakins, Norma Harpell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Goodfellow’s Funeral Home, Parham. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00 am in the chapel. Interment followed at Parham Cemetery. Memorial donations made to Parham United Church or Rotary Club of Kingston in Eileen’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
