Obituary of Effie Diane Feddema
Peacefully with family by her side, on Friday, January 17th, 2025, at Strathmere Lodge, Effie Feddema, passed away at the age of 80 to be with her Lord and Savior.
Loving wife of the late Walter Feddema, of 58 years. Cherished mom of Helen (Rick) Evans and Jamie (Jennifer) Feddema. Devoted Grandma of Andrew (Amanda) Evans and Carson Feddema (Emily Kuchta) and great-grandma of Raya Evans. Dear sister of the late Diane (the late Wendall) VandenHazel, Ben (Pauline) Huberts, Terry (Dale) Huberts and sister in law of the late John (the late Rennie Feddema and her late husband William Luinstra), the late Jake (the late Linda) Feddema, the late Jane (Frank) VanderHeide, Greta (the late Klaas) Huizinga, Anne (Bob) Wieringa. Effie will be sadly missed by many extended family members and dear friends.
A special thanks to the caring staff at Strathmere Lodge for all their care and support for Effie.
Friends will be received at Providence United Reformed Church, 447 Second St. for visitation on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Providence United Reformed Church, 447 Second St., Strathroy, on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harry Zekveld officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery.
