On Saturday, February 8, 2025, a good and kind man, Edwin “Ed” Joseph Schroeder of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully at the age of 76 years. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Jeannette; daughter Jenna (Andy); sons Scott (Alexis) and Brent (Andrew); and grandson, artist and Lego creator, Sam.
Ed was fortunate to be surrounded by the people who meant the most to him during his brief, courageous battle with cancer: brother Don and his wife Brenda; nieces Jacinda, Shannon and Kristin; sister-in-law, Wendy; as well as many close friends.
Ed was a humble and grateful man from beginning to end and was a bright light for many people. His light shone brightest as a teacher with Regina Catholic Schools, as a volleyball coach and referee, as a ceramics craftsman vendor at craft shows, and when he spent time in his garden. His memory will be cherished by those who were fortunate to have known him.

Funeral Service will be held at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 315 Douglas Avenue, East, Regina, SK, on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Private Interment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
