Edward (Ted) Librock
1942 – 2025
Ted passed away at Tabor Manor in St. Catharines after a courageous battle with ALS, on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025.
Beloved husband to Roberta (Bobbi) of 61 years.
Supportive father of Robert and Michelle, Sandra and Dwayne
Loving papa to Justin, Jessica and Matthew
Ted was the oldest of 6 brothers; Bruce (Diane), Danny (Jan), Ray (Louise), David (Randee). Predeceased by brother Terry (Linda)
He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ted was an avid sports fan, including the Leafs and Jays. He loved spending his summer days at the Fort Erie Racetrack. He also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends as well as his early morning coffee at Tim Hortons with his buddies.
Ted was employed at Cadbury beverages, starting at the age of 15, working his way up to the supervisor of shipping and receiving. Ted worked there for more than 40 years.
He was a volunteer for many charities and loved playing Santa during the holiday season.
Ted was also an avid hunter and a member of the Dixie Hunt Club in Wilberforce.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Matt Greenway and the staff at Tabor Manor for their exceptional and compassionate care, always going above and beyond.
As Ted’s wished, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS society or the St. Vincent DePaul soup kitchen.
