Edward “Ed” Lindeman Obituary
May 19, 1943 – February 9, 2025
On Sunday February 9th, The Lindeman Family lost their patriotic father, grandfather & great grandfather. Edward (Ed) was born on May 19, 1943, in Tramping Lake, Sk., to parents of Joseph & Barbara Lindeman. He was 1 of the youngest of 7 siblings: Magdelina, Peter, Joe, George, Wilfred & Leo.
Ed met the love of his life, Shirley Knodel in 1963 and married in 1968. They started their family together by welcoming their 1st son, Jaymes, on May 6, 1970. Then they completed the family with their second son David on April 12, 1977.
Jaymes lives in Crossfield, Ab. (Cheryl & Savannah)
David & Kelly live in Bentley, Ab & gave them 4 Grandchildren Sheena (Jesse), Chase (Chloe), Carson (Caprice) & Carter (Taylor) & a Great Granddaughter, Blake Lee Lindeman (Chase & Chloe)
Ed had a passion for chariot racing, the family farm and raising cattle. Ed loved his Black baldies and black angus cattle. Ed & Shirley retired in 2012 from the cattle and farming industry!
Ed had a love for hockey which he played in his younger years and enjoyed watching his boys and grandsons play. Ed and Shirley were very proud hockey parents/grandparents and made a lot of friends over all those years. He loved to watch and support the local Eatonia Huskies Hockey Team, he will be watching from above for years to come!
Ed & Shirley were the epitome of being a couple, they did not travel anywhere without one another and enjoyed following the chuck wagon circuit.
