It is with great sadness that the family of Edna Charlotte (Tracy) Webb announce her peaceful passing on June 10, 2025 at White Rapids Manor. Edna was born on March 2, 1933 to the late Jennie (Nason) and J. Blaine Tracy. She was the loving wife of the late Wilmot Webb.
Edna was predeceased by her parents, her sister Helen (Ray)Harris, and her brother Allan (Enid) Tracy. Edna will be deeply missed by her three sons whom she loved dearly; Michael (Becky), James (Valerie), and Bruce (Catherine), her four grandchildren; Sean (Taylor), Scott (Madison), Sarah (Joey), Rebecca (Nick), and five great grandchildren; Gracie, Myah, Avah, Jackson, and Layla, as well as two more soon to arrive.
Edna will forever be remembered by her kind and loving nature, big heart, and sweet and caring smile. Before starting a family, Edna worked as a Registered Nurse at the Saint John General Hospital and then later in Fredericton Junction. Once her boys came along, she was a proud and loving mother who took pride in raising them. She also found time to volunteer in the community with Meals on Wheels, the Ladies Missionary Society, and she was a member of the Gladstone Curling Club. She was a faithful member of the Fredericton Junction United Baptist Church. Edna was a lady of great faith who started each day sitting at her kitchen table reading her bible and ended each day by saying her prayers each night.
The family would like to thank the staff of White Rapids Manor for the exceptional care they gave to her. She considered them her extended family.
Family and friends are invited to Visitations at the Fredericton Junction Baptist Church on Friday June 13th, 2025 from 3-6 pm. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Saturday June 14th, 2025 at 11am with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow at the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery.
For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in Edna’s memory would be appreciated by the family to the Fredericton Junction United Baptist Church or the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery.
