Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edilio (Ed) Pacitti, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend who left us on January 25, 2025 at the age of 69. Ed was born in Toronto and lived a life defined by warmth, generosity, and a profound sense of loyalty to those he loved.
Ed’s successful career as a Business Owner, was marked by dedication, integrity, and a remarkable work ethic. His passion for his family was followed by his love of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Cars (building or driving) and his ability to inspire others with his knowledge and enthusiasm. His commitment to excellence was evident in everything he did, from his professional life to the care and attention he devoted to his family.
But it was this boundless love for his family that defined him most. Ed’s greatest pride was in being a father, and he poured his heart into his relationship with his children wife, always present, always supportive. His love knew no limits, and he created a lasting sense of belonging and warmth for everyone in his life.
He had an incredible ability to make others feel valued and appreciated, whether it was through a simple gesture or a heartfelt conversation, Ed was always willing to lend a hand. His legacy of love and respect will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Ed is survived by his wife, Marisa Pacitti (DeMare), his children, Daniella Pacitti, Aly Pacitti and Nick Pacitti his brother, Trusiano Paul Pacitti and his mother, Silvana Pacitti. But it was this boundless love for his family that defined him most. Ed’s greatest pride was in being a father, and he poured his heart into his relationship with his children and wife, always present, always supportive.
Rest in peace, Ed. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten as but your legacy will live on in the hearts of those you loved and who loved you.

Ed we met at Loyola during a swim meet where Aly and our daughter Christina forged their friendship. I read your life’s passion and I see a lot of that in Aly. I’m sure you’re looking down upon her and the rest of your family with great pride and love. We’re so very sorry to hear of your passing. May you rest in peace. The Napoli family
