On January 25, 2025, Mr. Dustin Darrell “Dusty Boot” Brertton of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Saddle Lake, Alberta, passed away at the age of 40 years. He is survived by his father, Harvey Littlechild; brothers, Terry (Noreen) Littlechild & Iyan Brertton; sister, Marley Stone; niece, Cammi Brertton; nephew, Noah Stone “Boss Baby”; kokum, Angie Brertton; uncles, Gary Giant & Darrell Brertton (Leigh-Ann); aunties, Valerie (Howard) Courchene, Donna Giant & Shannon Brertton; special aunt, Julie Lawrence; numerous cousins, aunties, uncles & honeys. Dustin was predeceased by his mother, Arlene Brertton; son, Avery; maternal grandfather, Raymond A. Giant; paternal grandparents, Raymond & Maryann Littlechild; uncle, Larry Brertton; cousin, Morgan Jackson. A Wake will be held on Sunday, February 2 (leaving Grace Gardens at 11:00 a.m.) at the Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m. at the Resource Centre (Old Onchaminahos School Gym), Saddle Lake.
