ones, the death occurred on January 17th, 2025 at the QEH of Douglas
(Doug) Norman Abercrombie.
Beloved husband and will be missed
incredibly by the love of his life, Marie (Frieda)
Robinson-Abercrombie.
Father of son Terry Abercrombie
(Denise).
Loving brother and is sadly missed by
Deanna Jones, Dawn Vaccari, Suzanne Robertson, Kevin Weldon (Ann), and
Karen Wenstrom (Neill).
Brother and sister-in-law Doug
Robinson (Elizabeth).
Will be dearly missed by Laura
Archibald (Terry), Debbie Archibald (Malcolm), Cindy Ford (Rick),
Andrew Robinson (Tanya), and Fraser Robinson (Sarah).
Special thanks to the QEH Emergency
staff, Island EMS, unit 3 nursing staff, Jeanelle for care at home,
Pastor Brad Silliker for his compassion and support, and especially
Dr. Stott for his care and support during this trying
time.
Many heartfelt thanks for the support
of Marie’s Toursec/RMG family during Doug’s time in the hospital and
at home prior to and post-passing.
As per Doug’s request, there will be
no services held at this time.
Celebration of life to be held at a
later date.
