It is with sadness that we announce the
passing of Douglas Vincent Turner, 91, of
Sackville, NB at the Drew Nursing Home on Tuesday, December 24,
2024. Born in Sackville, Doug was a son of the late Rev.
Brae and Pearl (Allen) Turner.
Doug enjoyed an evening nature walk and
had a deep love for dogs.
Doug will be dearly missed by a son,
Roger (Patty) Turner, Amherst; a grandson, Domanic; two brothers,
David (Ruth) Turner, Halifax and Wally Turner, ON, as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Doug was
predeceased by his wife, Minnie; an infant daughter, and his siblings,
Harold, Clarence, Archie, Dorothy and Pearlina; as well as his
brother-in-law, David (Late Louise) Bacon.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300). A graveside service
will be held in the Sackville Cemetery on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at
11:30 am. Reception to follow at Jones Funeral
Home.
