Douglas Karl Hagerman Obituary
Douglas Karl Hagerman
On Saturday, March 22, 2025 our beloved dad and grandfather Douglas Hagerman peacefully passed away in his 92nd year at the Caressant Care Nursing Home. He is predeceased by his loving wife and partner in life, June (nee Kemp). They were married for 68 years. Survived by his loving children Jewell, Robbie (Theresa) and Ross (Donna). He was adored by his grandchildren Andrew, Mike, Sheldon, Courtney, Laura, Jennifer and June. Doug is survived by his sister Bernice Sheppard (the late Howard) and his sister in law Mary Hagerman. Predeceased by his parents, Kenneth & Ora Hagerman and his brother Jim Hagerman. Doug was loved and will be missed by his extended family and many friends. Our Dad meant so much to all of us, but the most endearing thing about him was his kindness and humour. Doug enjoyed farming, driving school bus, having coffee with his gang and his woodworking. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and the Lions Club of Campbellford. Special thanks to the staff at Caressant Care Marmora for their exceptional care. Visitation will be held at WEAVER – Campbellford, 77 Second Street, Campbellford on Saturday March 29th, 2025 from 11am to 1pm, with a service to follow at 1pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Memories, stories and condolences can be shared online at www.weaverfuneralhomes.com
