It is with great sadness that we share the sudden passing of Doug Brown in his 62nd year.
Deeply treasured son of June Lang, beloved brother of Kathy Brown, Kelly-Jo Leeson and the late David Brown. Much loved uncle of Kristine Leeson, Megan Brown and Erin Leeson. Cherished best friend of Cindy Tu & her family. Remembered by his good friends, Paul Athwal and Barry Sookoo.
Born on a warm summer day to his much loved mother, June. Doug spent most of his childhood in the Burlington area, where he attended elementary and highschool. His bond and devotion to his mother was lifelong, he always took the best care of her, making her laugh with his incredible sense of humour and even making her dreams come true by taking her on her dream vacation to Hawaii. He was a great brother, very loving, caring and giving, not just to his family who he loved deeply, but to anyone who needed his help. He was hardworking and loved to shower others with thoughtful gifts. He was an animal lover who had an affinity for Freddie the cat. The void he leaves will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and Friends are invited to join them for a funeral service on Monday, March 17th at 1pm, which will be held at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception Ltd. 1 Highland Drive, Flesherton, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
