Brian Douglas Hale “Doug”
With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Doug on December 23, 2024, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Hale for 49 years. Loved father of Andrea, Tom and Katherine, and grandfather to Kyle and Robin. Doug lived his whole life in Hamilton but enjoyed his many summers spent in Sauble Beach. He was retired from Stelco after decades of service. Doug was full of stories and memories and enjoyed listening to oldies. He had a great love of sports and was happiest watching the Leafs lose every season. We hope our husband, dad, and grandpa is at peace on a sunny beach with his missed family and pets who were waiting for him on the other side. Go Red Wings, Go Yankees! “See ya!”
Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held as per Doug’s wishes. Donations may be made in memory of Doug to Action Volunteers for Animals (A.V.A.) Hamilton. We thank the Dermody team for their support during this time.
