Dorothy Mae Taylor, nee Simpson (Mamie), passed away peacefully in her home in Hamilton, ON. Mae was born on January 1, 1941, in Coburg, ON. She was the daughter of James and Dorthea Simpson.
A deeply loved mother to Sandee, Angie (Eric), and Mary-Kaye (Terry), and a proud grandma to Laylah, Kalvin (Amanda), Karlee (Conroy), as well as G.G. to Wesley, Silas, and Briar. Mae was survived by her brother Harold (Mary Anne) and is now reunited with her brothers Harry, Bud, Frank, Raymond, Randy, and sister Mary. Fun-loving Aunt Mae to her beloved nieces and nephews.
Mae retired from TD Bank at age 72, dedicating 50 years of service. She will be remembered as a strong, independent, beautiful lady with an infectious laugh, a beautiful smile, and a huge heart. Mae was all about family and loved hers effortlessly.
She will be missed every day and remain in the hearts she touched.
Rest in peace, little Mama. ❤️ No more worries.”
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
