Obituary of Dorothy Gagan
Peacefully passed away with family by her side at Health Sciences North on Monday, March 24, 2025 at the age of 79.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Donald Sr. Loving mother of Raymond (Michelle), Judy Gagan-Mavretic (Mark) and Donald Jr. (Crystal). Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Tracey, Sarah, Richard and Eric. Great-grandmother of Jack, Levi, Ivy, Savanah, Adalynn and Jacklyn. Predeceased by her parents Lewis and Margaret Boynton. Sister of Marjori Dimma (late Grady), Sandra Babic (late Larry), late Leslie, late David, Violet Boynton-Maclary, Wendy Aubertine (Paul), Kathy, Margaret Turcotte (Gilles), Leonard, Sharon Smith (Doug) and Valarie Klym (Dwayne). She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Helen Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family.
