Doris Ida Pletsch of Walkerton passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, in her 95th year. Beloved mother of Elroy (Patricia) of Hanover, Marion (John) Hinsperger of Walkerton, and Sharon (Marlin) Wentzell of London. Doris was the proud grandmother of Jeffrey, Paul, Crystal, Kaylee, Victoria, and Rachel, great-grandmother of 14, and great-great-grandmother of 4. She will be missed by her sister Phyllis Haack of Waterloo, sisters-in-law Madeline Weber of Neustadt and Ruth Pletsch of Walkerton, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Lloyd, son Larry, and three children in-infancy, grandchildren Michael Pletsch and Shawna Trivedi, siblings Leslie (Dorothy) Weber, Gordon Weber, Wilma (Austin) Schumacher, Eldon (Gertrude) Weber, Donald Weber, Audrey Weber, brothers-in-law Gerry Haack and George Pletsch, and parents Wilfred and Emma (nee Voight) Weber.
Friends and relatives are invited to visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Walkerton. Rev. Pam McNeil officiating. Reception to follow. Interment in Walkerton Cemetery.
