Doris McMahon
Passed away peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, April 3, 2025. Doris McMahon of Chesterville at the age of 90. Beloved aunt of Bonnie, Carol, Mary-Alice, Gordon, Steven, Jim, Ron, and Glen. She also leaves behind her cherished cousins Ken (Madilin), Lois (son Neal) and Eunice. Prredeased by her parents Alfred and Grace McMahon (nee Russell), her sisters Helen Shaver (Neil), Mae Pitcher (Ernie), her brothers Arnold (Audrey), Ken (Veronica), and Lylie (Barabara) and her stepsisters and stepbrothers Loretta, Kathleen, Charlotte, Alice, Hubert, George, Leonard, and Jerald. She also leaves behind many close friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank Doris for always being there for us and showing us how to grow through life as strong individuals.
Funeral Arrangements
As per Doris’ wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside Memorial service will take place at Maple Ridge Cemetery Chesterville in the spring. Donations to the Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift “please notify the family.
