Donna Marie (Reid) Williams
1937-2025
Donna Marie (Reid) Williams of Harvey Station, NB passed away in
Fredericton, NB on May 11, 2025. Donna was born at the Fisher
Memorial Hospital in Woodstock, NB on November 25, 1937, being the
only child of Alton and Bessie (Stewart) Reid.
Donna attended and graduated from Centreville Regional High school.
Following graduation, she was employed by Hope Adjustment Bureau Ltd.
And Kilgour Hamilton (Maritime) Ltd. As a secretary for the Insurance
Adjustment Firms. In later years, she was employed by William
Matthews as Secretary for the Muriel Bell Interior Designs Ltd., then
Ashfield, DeWitt, LeBlanc & Yerxa Law Firm for over 25 years as a
Bookkeeper and Legal Secretary. After retiring in 2002, she was
employed by Compu College teaching Law for two 6 month sessions. She
was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church and served on several of the
Church Committees over the years.
Donna is survived by her children, Randy Williams (Rosmary), Jeffrey
Williams, Chris Williams and Suzanne Watson (Charles), and the father
of her children, David T.B. Williams, all of Harvey Station, NB; her
grandchildren, Michael T. Williams, Calgary, AB, Sherry Harris
(Kenny), New Maryland, NB, Barret Williams (Amy), Sault Ste. Marie,
ON, Brittany Williams, St. Andrews, NB, Shaun Williams (Shannon),
Courtney Wood (Weston), David C.A. Williams (Sarah), all of Harvey
Station, NB, Daniel Williams (Jennifer), Keswick Ridge, NB, HC Watson
(Kelly), Mitchell Watson (Alexie), Mackenzie Watson, also all of
Harvey Station, NB; twenty-one great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her oldest son, Michael David Williams; her
daughter-in-law, Sheryl Diane (Cole) Williams; her parents, Alton and
Bessie (Stewart) Reid; her maternal grandparents, Fred and Bessie
(Smith) Stewart; her step-grandmother Viola (Kinney) Stewart and her
paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Della (Estey) Reid.
Visitation will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey
Station, NB on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 12 noon until 2 pm, followed
by the funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Anne Boudreau officiating.
Interment will be later.

Williams’ Harvey High School Scholarship Fund, Hospice
