Peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 at the age of 62.
Predeceased by loving parents Gerald and May Dalton and her sister Susan French (John). Left to mourn are her loving partner Wilson Bassile, her daughters Sophia (Rick Gregg) and Bianca (Troy Goodwin) Olivieri and their son Dante, sister Judy Henry (Denis), brother Gerald (Ron Clow), nephew Christopher Henry and niece Sara Vanterpool (Jamell) and their son Isaiah.
Donna will be remembered as a lover of animals, especially dogs and rabbits, a talented artist, incredible cook and baker, and a loyal, kind, loving person to family and friends.
The family would like to thank her Doctors and the staff of 6 East, General campus of the Ottawa Hospital for the wonderful care she received. The family also wishes to thank her dear friends Anna Olivieri, Sara Carvalho, Lori, Shelly, Janet, and Joan for their love and support.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Wednesday, January 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Church on Thursday, January 16 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maycourt Hospice where Donna was able to transition with peace and dignity due to the incredible staff or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
