Donna Lee Deforest Obituary
Deforest, Donna – Passed away peacefully, on April 2, 2025 at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga. Donna, in her 78th year, was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Deforest for 59 years of marriage. They passed away less than a month apart and are now reunited. Dear mother of Rodney Deforest (Dani) and the late Michelle Deforest. She is survived by her siblings Carol, Larry, Maureen, Kathy, Laurie, Bill, Lisa and preceded in death by sister Gail and brother Russell. Donna was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, and loved to take the time to visit with them all. She loved to cook and baked the best lemon meringue pie ever! When she wasn’t cooking, she could be found singing along to her favourite song – Man! I feel like a woman! by Shania Twain. Donna enjoyed nothing more than being with her family, or spending time in her yard in Glen Williams.
Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. A reception will be held following the service.
