It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald William Gummer, who left us peacefully on June 12, 2025, at the age of 80. He was a devoted father to his three children, Kristopher, Jana (Stephen) Burke, and Margo Burt, who all made him very proud. He was the loving grandfather of Kiyomi and Caleah (Burke), and Anna, Aiden and Brady (Burt). Don was the older brother to Norman (Linda) Gummer and Marva Jean (Rick) Christie. A loved uncle to many.A man committed to community, service and nature, Don’s legacy lives on through the many people he touched in his life as well as the acres of land he influenced in his 45+ years in forestry. He was known for his kind heart and advice on trees 🙂 Whether it was sharing quality time with family or serving others at church or in the community, Don had a unique way of making those around him feel valued and special.
