Donald L. Lowe
1942-2025
It is with great sadness, the family of Donald “Bud” Lowe,
83, of Martins Point, announce his passing. On Saturday, February 8,
2025, Bud peacefully passed away at South Shore Regional Hospital with
his family by his side.
Born in Martins Point, he was the son of the late Rev. Ralph and Valma
Lowe.
Bud had a successful career at the dockyard as a civilian machinist
until he retired at the age of 52. He enjoyed going to the camp for
relaxation, hunting and fishing.
Bud was survived by his sons, Richard Lowe of Western Shore, Timothy
and Laura Lowe of Timberlea. Grand children, Katherine Lowe of Western
Shore, Jessee Lowe of Timberlea, Jason Mosher of Chester Basin. Great
grandchildren, Zachary Wile of Western Shore, Shelby Wile of Yarmouth
and Ava Mosher of Chester Basin. Also survived by nieces and
nephews.
Bud was predeceased by his parents; his wife Elaine; sisters, Joyce
Sarty(William), Donna Morgan (Evan); daughter- in-law, Diane
Lowe.
The family would like to send a heart filled thank you to the Western
Shore and District Fire Department, EHS and all the wonderful health
care providers we encountered during this difficult time.
Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or
to the Western Shore Fire Department, for which Bud served as a member
for many years, in his younger years.
