age 63 of East Preston, passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2025 in Halifax. Donald, affectionately known as “Duck” or “Ducky”, was born on August 7th, 1961. He was the son of the late Arthur and Alice (Crawley) Williams. Donald enjoyed playing hockey and baseball, fishing and would often socialize with family and friends. Ducky was known for making others laugh and for his loving personality. He truly loved his family and many friends who will miss him dearly.
Donald is survived by his sisters, Bernadine (Morgan), Ethel (Royce), brother Russell, sons Jamar and Frisk, nieces and nephews, uncles Alfred, Brenton, aunt Evelyn, special aunt Florence (Bill) Carter, special sister Ada (Everald), cousins and special friend Leslie Daye. Donald was predeceased by his brothers Ivan, Jeffery and Arthur (Giggy), aunts Leona (William) Slawter and Mary (Donald) Crawley, nephew Jason, special friend Joan Brooks, paternal grandparents Ethel Mae (Tyler) and George Herbert Williams, maternal grandparents Margaret (Carvery) and Russell Edward Crawley.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
