Donald (Donnie) Lance Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donnie Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at the age of 73 surrounded by his loving family.
He was predeceased by his parents Alfred Lance and Sylvia Kluke, and his siblings: Elmer, Doreen and Diane. Donnie is survived by his loving wife Lilian Shea, son Mark (Sophie); other children: Kevin, Scott (Dominic) and MJ (Tanya); grandchildren: Gavin, Mathieu, Logan, Nicolas, Abigail and Maxime and his siblings: Patricia (Patrick), Darleen (JP) and Alfred Jr. (Lise).
Donnie was born and raised in Campbell’s Bay Quebec. He was a lover of the outdoors and spent as much time as possible doing his favourite things. On any given day you could find him in his shop fixing just about anything. If he wasn’t there, he was fishing, hunting, ATVing or snowmobiling depending on the season.
One of his favorite places was his palace up at Nottamoose. He was very social; he loved going for walks to catch up with his friends or trips on the snowmobile or ATV with his buddies. When it was raining or snowing too much for the outdoors you would find him curled up with his sweetheart having a movie day.
He was a gentle and kind man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the first responders and all of the emergency personnel and also the staff at the Pontiac Community Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 19, 2024 in St. John the Evangelist Church, Campbell’s Bay, Quebec at 11 a.m. followed by a celebration of Donnie’s life at the Bryson Lions Club where a light lunch will be served.
Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family.
