Peacefully at the Southbridge, Kemptville on Wednesday December 11, 2024. Donald Reid age 80 of Kemptville. Beloved husband of Carole (Kennedy). Loving Dad of Mary (Glenn) Weiher, David (Jackie) Reid, Ellen (Dan) Laforest, Amy Reid & Dawn Blad (Mark Goodenough) and D.J. (Carlye) Blad. Cherished Grandpa of Dan, Mike, Pat; Ginny (Brian), Ethan; Jake; Emma (Hayden); Riley (Ashley), Kyra (Vinny), Teagen & Makena and great-grandpa of Benjiman. Dear brother of Judy (late Nabe) Daniels, Barbara (Paul) Hallam, Alan Reid and the late Nancy Gillogly (Ross). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and the Kennedy Family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) on Saturday January 25, 2025 from 1 to 3 p.m. Donations in Memory of Donald may be made to the Independent Order of the Oddfellows South Mountain Lodge #428.
