WOW—— What a wonderful lifetime voyage
I have experienced;
Loving parents who gave me wings
Vastness of the prairie vista
Dust storms and a Great Depression
The charm and excitement of an expanding Saskatchewan frontier
The Ugliness of war years yet tinged with a rainbow
A most satisfying career in the field of Dairy processing and Research
The challenge, excitement and beauty of Canada’s untamed North
The wilderness with its serenity, tranquility and trusting wildlife
Being engulfed in a wet, pounding thunderstorm and associated lightning
The sunrise of a new exciting day and the red sunset of a day well done
Brilliant stars twinkling in the blackness of a nighttime sky
Zipping Northern lights or a bright moon in all its phases
The dip of a paddle in a placid lake, and, in white water rushing to the sea
The crackle and warmth of a campfire flickering its orange glow onto my tent
The freedom of flight guided by my carefree hand, with and without mechanical power
Communication with only a hand crank telephone and into the era of e-mail
Traveling by steam powered trains, later above the clouds in high flying jets
Always FAMILY, and FRIENDS, some new, some long time – like 90 years
What more could one ask in the Voyage of Life ?
