It is with great sadness that the family of Dolores “Dee” Sandberg announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Hogarth Riverview Manor. Dolores Tynne Hamelin was born to Heikka Hamelin and Tynne Hostikka on April 19, 1927. She was raised and educated in Port Arthur, ON. Dolores worked in the bookkeeping industry for many years.
On April 9, 1949 Dolores married the love of her life Eric Holger Sandberg. Together they welcomed two wonderful sons into the world. Many years were spent raising their sons and supporting them in their sports including coaching and travel. In their retirement years they travelled during the winter months and spent many days on the golf course. They also travelled many times to England to visit family. Family was everything!
