Obituary For Dolan Orvel Isaac
June 24, 1969 – February 12, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Dolan Orvel Isaac.
Dolan was a long time resident and active member of the community of Rycroft, Alberta, where he dedicated himself to building his family and career. When he wasn’t working as Village foreman, Dolan enjoyed quality time with family and friends which often included fishing and hunting, sitting around the fire, and telling ‘bad dad jokes’.
Since joining the Rycroft Fire Department at 16 years old, it was evident that Dolan took pride in living by his strong values and that he found purpose through sharing his vast knowledge with others. What stood out most about Dolan was his dedication to those he loved. He will be remembered for his solid presence, his witty sense of humor, and his generous spirit.
Dolan is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tracy; son, Jaydee (Kaylann); daughter, Jenna-Lyn (Riley); grandchildren, Adaline, Ebonni & Osiris; father, Orvel (Tena); sister, Michelle (Danny); nephews, Michael (Kerri), Colton & Colby; great-niece, Tessa; great-nephew, Theo; Mother-in-Law, Shirley Girvan (Gord); Father-in-Law, Albert Fedun (Sherry); Sister-in-Law, Shawna Fortin; Sister-in-Law, Chrystal Hudson; as well as many extended family members & friends.
Dolan is predeceased by daughter, Alyssa, mother, Sandy, and brother-in-law Jason Fortin.
There is to be a Celebration of Life held on March 15, 2025, at 2PM, located at the Rycroft Community Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alberta Conservation Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
