Obituary of Diana Adamyk
It is with love and sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Diana Adamyk (nee Chesterman) on the Tuesday, January 2nd 2025 in her 82nd year. Diana is now reunited with her devoted husband of 53 years, Ron Adamyk and is survived by her loving children, Ray (Michelle) Adamyk, Andrew (Alison) Adamyk and Justina Adamyk; adoring grandmother to Jack (Sam), Christy-Joy, Mary-Beth, Caroline and Alexis; great-grandmother to Josie and Sadie-Rae.
Sister to June Boyes and sister-in-law to Patricia (Brian) Monich. Diana will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Diana are her parents, Samuel and Doris Chesterman and siblings Ernie, Doris, Pearl and Jack.
Diana was a woman of faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior! Diana will be remembered for her infectious smile, laughter and positive attitude. Her passion in life was spending time with others & loving them. She enjoyed travelling and maintained many life-long friendships. In fact, her best friend of 75 years is still Wendy Berry from England.
Thanks to the staff at Linhaven for their warm and caring comfort given to Diana in the last year and final days.
In keeping with Diana’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and the family invites guests for a time of visitation on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 – 1:00pm in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Service in the ceremony room beginning at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider a donation to Operation Smile in memory of Diana.
