Diana Hamilton passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 10, 2025, at the age of 43. She was born on June 27, 1981, in Sarnia, Ontario. She is the beloved daughter of Richard Hamilton and Lydia Hamilton; Loving sister to Halina Johnston (Dave) and Mark Hamilton; Aunt to Isla and Eli Johnston; Granddaughter to Clementine Zawadzki. Diana is survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Diana was predeceased by her grandparents Tom and Mary Hamilton and Stanley Zawadzki.
Diana was a sweet and kind person who loved to laugh. She had the most beautiful smile that would light up a room. Diana enjoyed listening to music and loved Shania Twain, where she would sing along at the top of her lungs. She loved visiting the family farm where she would go on golf cart rides with Dad, spend time with her niece and nephew and enjoyed the annual fireworks show. She loved animals, her favorites being her childhood cat, Biggie and her sister’s dog, Dodge.
Diana was a social butterfly and enjoyed her time with her extended Community Living Family. We would like to thank the staff at Community Living for the wonderful and loving care provided to Diana over the past 5 years.
A celebration of Diana’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Community Living Sarnia Lambton in Diana’s memory (cheques only at the funeral home please).
